I just realize I haven't had any new art on here since 2007? And even then, it was kind of a doodle.

That makes me sad.

Cause I've actually improved art-wise since my junior year of high school, but that's all I have up here to represent myself. At the time I thought my drawings were good, now it's like when you go back to look at your art from middle school when everyone was liek "omg, your art rocks, ur gonna be famous" and it's like...a badly drawn anime character? That's what it feels like. Like I could do better but no one will know because I don't have the time to do anything for myself anymore. I can't even remember the last time I got to break out the colored pencils and do a portrait of someone I like in the style that I like...

Colored pencils are apparently frowned on in the art department. I've only gotten to use them once, and it was on a portrait of myself that I had to rush...

I don't know what I'm saying.

I guess I'm saying -- I miss that time when I'd draw because I loved drawing.
When I'd stay up all night working on a drawing just for me cause it's something I wanted to do.
Once I get done with all the art I need for my art classes -- the last thing I want to do is draw something for myself.

So thanks art school.
You kind of killed my passion for what I loved doing.

(I'm not as emo as that statement sounds, but srsly u guys. Srsly. Let me paint something fun.)
