*cries* Don't make fun of me...I'm really sad and disappointed, I spent forever on this and it didn't come out how I wanted it to...At all, but...It's not THAT bad, don't hate me x_x It looks better on paper, truely! It does.
I looked and looked for a good Michael Crawford pictures, but I couldn't find any I liked that were big enough to draw from. Otherwise, I DEFINITELY would have drawn him, of course
So yes, Phantom of the Opera...Colored pencils o.o There goes two nights I'll never get back x_x I liked the movie, I liked it a lot and I've never seen the Broadway. I really want to now though, of course. I wanted to go before the movie, but that's just because I love almost all theater I didn't like Gerard Butler, but I really loved Emmy as Christine. Her voice was so pretty! She's pretty, and I wanted to draw this picture because of her. (And because I've never done that view before), oh my goodness, it looks horrible and I took a hellofa long time drawing her. (More than the Phantom, I couldn't get him right at all so I just moved on and tried drawing Christine.)
I kept trying to fix their faces with color until I realized that it WAS the drawings that were wrong. I couldn't start over though...I was really proud of it at 4 in the morning. All of my drawings look good when I'm half asleep, but then you wake up the next morning and look at it, and realize it's not as good as you thought..
It's not all THAT bad though...This is my first realistic picture that has two people in it. That was the hardest part...Getting then together in the right place and having them be the right size-ish. I did sort of okay on that...It was just hard! I'm not that great of a drawer I guess, I had so much trouble on so many parts of this x_x For how difficult it was to do, I like it, lol. My mom thinks I'm improving She also wanted me to call it "Music of the Night" because it's her and my favorite song. So many pretty words in one place...I can't not like it @@
Originally drawn for Or...It was going to be for her with the Michael...I doubt you want this one, ne? XP I'm going to ask Ms. Peck if I can enter it in the Puyallup fair anyway...Then all the good artists will laugh at my shame @_@ Yippy
I don't know why you are so dissapointed with this, I think it looks great. You did a terrific job with the coloring, and if this is really your first time drawing faces realistically then it is amazing!
o.o
Gasp, this is great! I haven't seen the movie, but I saw it on Broadway with Elyssa. I liked the Phantom, but not Christine too much..... XP
Wonderful job. I can't color at all.....o.O
(I love her hair!)
Aw, gee...you're too hard on yourself! I like it a lot, and it looks like you spent a great deal of time on it! Nothing bad glares out at me..her neck looks slightly off, but there's so much going on with all the brilliant color, that you don't really notice it much. I like it very much
